Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Reveal: School Theme

ahhh .....  September. Vacations, fairs, and sleep-late-mornings are behind us for the most part.  I can hear the collective sigh of relief as parents everywhere send the kiddos back to school. Time for homecomings, bonfires, football, school open houses, and "Better hurry up! The bus is just down the street!"

Oh the memories! .... speaking of which ......

Here's my "School Theme" inspiration for September's first challenge at the Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Blog:

Please join us at the Rose Blossom Garden with a "School" themed project of your choice.

Use any of the cuts on page 68 of the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge and you'll receive a bonus entry for this month's drawing!

Being it's August and all, this is the perfect time to feature Summer Themed projects at the Rose Blossom Challenge Blog!

For this challenge the "Cricut Bonus Key" is the "T" Key on the new Artbooking Cricut Cartridge by Close To My Heart. I couldn't resist the mini album project on this particular key.

RBG Inspiration Reveal

Today I'm revealing my inspiration for the current challenge at Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Blog! This time around we're featuring the "K" key on the Artiste Cartridge.

I chose to create a clean and simple layout that features the butterfly and flower cuts. I also used one of the mini page cuts to create journal tabs.

Rose Blossom Garden Challenge!

Happy May Day Everyone! Spring has finally arrived in Minnesota and I can't think of a better way to celebrate than with the delightful colors in the new limited edition Dream Pops papers from
Close To My Heart.

Combined with the May Stamp of the Month and the new challenge from the Rose Blossom Garden, I created these happy, cheery party favors using the "P" key on the Artiste Cricut Cartridge:

Easy to assemble and oh so fun to decorate. These little pyramid boxes do double duty as table decorations and a lovely parting gift for your guests!

I used the pinwheel cuts from the "p" key and the May Stamp of the Month for the colorful
 pinwheels and touching sentiment.

This favor sports one of four scalloped pinwheel flowers from the same "p" key along with a friendly little sentiment from the May Stamp of the Month.

Yes! Another fun sentiment and some stars stamped out using the May SOTM!
Add a little Glitz Glitter Gel and some Bling .... and it's party!!!

When cut at the recommended 5" size, there's plenty of room for treats and small gifts.

Join the fun over at the Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Blog for your chance to be a Top 3 Pick. You'll also be entered to win this month's prize stamp set! Hope to see YOU at the Rose Garden!

Thanks for stopping by ....
Stay tuned this week for more Dream Pop and Artiste fun!

There's a NEW Challenge Blog Coming!

Yep! .... and it will be blooming with inspiration, fun, and of course ... prizes!!!

The Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Blog has begun to sprout! You can meet the design team, sign on as a new follower, and enter to win a Close To My Heart stamp set! We go "full bloom" on April 1st with our first challenge for you, our fellow paper crafters!

You will be challenged to create with the Cricut Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges. On the 1st and 15th of each month we will give you one cartridge key to play with. You will also see artwork created by the Rose Blossom DT using that same key. You are sure to be inspired to create, and more importantly, have fun exploring the 700 cuts each cartridge has to offer.

I'll let you in on a little secret .... Brenda has given all DT members the challenge key list through July. Guess what? I have yet to play with most of the keys on the list and can't wait to dig in. This is going to be as much fun for the DT as it will be for you!

So .... Click HERE to visit the new Rose Blossom Garden Challenge Blog
By becoming a follower before April 1st, your name will go in the drawing for this stamp set:
